The Essence
of Lucille
Lucille was beautiful, with the sweetest, most genuine soul. To know her was to experience unconditional love. She truly exemplified a nurturing spirit, smart, courageous, private, and passionate about family.
She was a lover of the best things in life: music, designer fashion, jewelry, perfumes, fine dining, and great books. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, whether on vacations or at gatherings.
Lucille’s quiet nature was evident in childhood. However, when her only granddaughter, Candas, came along, she began to open up more. She loved her immensely and brought life to conversations and memories. Candas gave her the gift of happiness and laughter each day, and Lucille admired her deeply as she grew older.
As life went on, I yearned for her thoughts, ideas, and conversations about life. That longing to know more from her became one of the inspirations behind Studio Lucille.
Her legacy is one of profound dignity: to be a light, to share joy, and to live fully, no matter your status or challenges. Studio Lucille carries that legacy forward. When I think of her, I find strength.
