Who We Are

Born from Studio Lucille’s mission to honor legacy through art and storytelling, Founding Family continues that tradition — this time, through your own family’s stories.

Everything You Need to Preserve Your Family Story

Founding Family gives you the tools to collect, organize,
and preserve your family’s stories in one safe place.

Create a private archive where every generation can contribute photos, memories, voice notes, and wisdom — turning your family history into a living, growing record of who you are.

Stories Shared by Our Community

  • A Place for Every Story

We’ve been scanning photos for years but never had a real home for them. Founding Family finally gave us a place where our stories live together — my kids can hear my grandmother’s voice and see her handwriting in one space.

  • Reconnecting the Roots

I invited my cousins to contribute and within a week we uncovered photos we didn’t even know existed. It made us feel closer, even living in different states.

    — The Johnson Family, Houston, TX

  • Healing Through Memory

My dad passed before I could ask him everything I wanted to know. Building our family archive helped me piece together our history and share it with my son. It’s more than a project — it’s a gift.

Our Stories
Live Here

Every family carries history — photos fading in albums, recipes written on napkins, stories told only at reunions. Founding Family was created to keep those memories alive, connected, and accessible for generations.

It’s not just about where we come from — it’s about who we become when we remember.
